HOST

For over two decades, Dr. Kelly Cagle has researched parenting, relationships, and human development, in addition to being an educator. She’s an advocate of school choice and parents using daily moments as learning opportunities. Dr. Cagle is a homeschooling boy mom x3, holds a PhD in education, and loves her job of teaching parents how to raise lifelong learners.

Aside from education, she’s passionate about drinking lots of coffee, having a daily healthy consumption of chocolate, and enjoying lunch at Joe T’s with her family every Sunday after church.

with special guests…

  • Joelle Sullivan

Joelle has been a hair stylist, makeup artist and esthetician for 18 years. She’s a second generation homeschooler, married, mama of 2, and lover of Jesus! I asked her to join us because she’s extremely passionate and knowledgeable about holistic living. Joelle is a regular mom, who learned how to do a ton of research to help her daughter heal from a vaccine injury. I hope Joelle’s story and experiences will empower and equip you to confidently advocate for your family’s health!

  • A woman with long dark hair sitting barefoot on a green velvet sofa, smiling and resting her head on her hand in a minimalist room with white walls and light wood flooring.

    Katy Brooks

Katy is an E-RYT 500 yoga instructor in the DFW metroplex. She has 10 years of teaching experience and loves to teach in the studio setting and private events. Katy loves to see every day folks (like herself!) build self love and physical strength through the practice of yoga. She teaches the importance of the breath to help regulate the nervous system. Katy's favorite thing about yoga is the way it can increase your capacity to handle daily stress. Through yoga, you can notice almost right away a greater awareness for tolerating things that are uncomfortable, and Katy believes on your yoga mat you can practice that very skill. She has a passion for moms taking the time for themselves. Katy will lead us through simple exercises and tools we can implement in our daily lives!

    Heather Hogue

Heather is a pastor’s wife who recently graduated from BH Carroll Theological Seminary with a MA in Counseling. She also holds an MEd from Old Dominion University and had a successful career as a public school teacher which culminated with her being the 2019 Teacher of the Year for John Adams Middle School in Grand Prairie, Texas. She currently works as an LPC-Associate Counselor at the Rush Creek Counseling Center in Arlington where she sees children ages four and up as well as adults, families, and couples.

Heather has training in Brainspotting—a treatment for those suffering from trauma wounds, and she is also a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich--a program used for assessment in premarital and marriage counseling. She and her husband, Mike, raised four children—now ages 28, 26, 24, and 21--one of whom is on the autism spectrum. Her favorite hobbies include traveling and going to estate sales where she has acquired a large collection of board games, puppets, and ugly Christmas sweaters.
