There are two parts to this workshop:

1. Intelligences: based on multiple intelligence theory (Gardner, 1983)

2. Self-Regulation: based on self-regulated learning theory (Zimmerman, 1998)

Part I: Intelligences

1. Learn about 8 different ways of processing information

2. Explore your child's unique gifts and strengths

3. Understand ways to personalize their learning and academic needs

Equip your child to be confident learners because they understand how they learn best.

Part II: Self-Regulation

1. Learn about planning, monitoring, and reflecting during learning

2. Explore their current study habits

3. Be introduced to 6 ways to improve their study skills

Help your child understand how to organize their time, schedule, and tasks.

In this workshop, I will teach on 4 areas that you, your child’s #1 Teacher, can put into practice daily in your home to improve their mindset about school and to grow a love of learning.

You’ll learn about:

1. Triggers: what are your personal academic triggers that could be reflecting onto your child?

2. Grades: how are you measuring academic success? Is it just through grades? (*hint: there's more to learning than just that.)

3. Emotional Intelligence: worried about your child experiencing anxiety or depression, like so many others their age?

4. Study Habits: habits don't happen by chance. They take intentionality to form.

In God’s Promises as Waves, your child will explore their unique design as a learner to fully understand how to individualize the journey of protecting their mind.

 Combining educational research and the Bible, Dr. Kelly Cagle will equip them with strategies that lead to self-exploration, awareness, and acceptance. They will also be empowered to allow God’s promises to rush into the daily battles that start in their mind as waves, washing away the negativity and filth, replacing the lies with His Truth.
